    Purpose:

    • Provide insights and introduce salient features of the ISO 9001:2015 structure
    • Prepare QMII alumni and students of System Approach to the fundamental changes coming with the launch of the updated ISO 9001:2015 Standard in September 2015
    • Bridge the gap between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 and be ahead of the curve in thinking about risk to an organization
    • 9001:2015 has adopted the ‘High Level Structure’. A new common format developed for use in all management
      system standards. This includes standardized:
    • Structure (Clause Sequence),
    • Common terminology (per ISO DIS 9000: 2014
    • Organizations implementing multiple management systems (e.g. quality, environmental, information security)can achieve better integration and easier implementation.
    • The concept of “risk” in the context of ISO 9001:2015 relates to the uncertainty in achieving the standard
      objectives : To consistently provide customers with conforming goods and
      services To enhance customer satisfaction The organization is required to understand its context in order to more accurately determine the risks and opportunities that need to be addressed.
